Alvin and Michael are two friends who share a passion for preserving knowledge, strengthening family connections, and using technology to make learning accessible for everyone. Together, we founded Tell The Story|Pass It On with a simple vision: to provide families and communities with an easy way to create, organize, and share meaningful learning experiences. We believe that every family has a story worth preserving and every person has knowledge worth passing on to future generations.
Our journey began through a shared interest in African American history and family heritage. As we explored our own family stories, we recognized how easily valuable memories, historical records, photographs, and life lessons can be lost over time. We wanted to create a platform that would empower individuals to document their experiences, teach others about their heritage, and build educational courses that can be shared with family members and friends. By combining modern technology with a passion for education, we help families preserve their legacy while creating opportunities for lifelong learning.
Today, our mission is to make it simple for anyone to become a teacher, historian, and storyteller within their own community. Whether sharing family history, documenting cultural traditions, teaching life skills, or preserving the rich contributions of African American ancestors, our platform provides the tools needed to create engaging learning experiences that can be passed from one generation to the next. We are committed to helping families connect, learn, and grow together through the power of education and technology.
